• Make it a point to put a small amount of compost into the hole where you will plant the flower. Just because your soil looks healthy does not mean you don’t have to take extra measures to make your plant grow properly.
• Determine if the flowers you plan to include in your garden can cause allergies or discomfort to people in your house or pets. Some plants have poison and substances that have bad effects to humans and animals if they come in contact with them. If it is possible, do not choose these kinds of plants. But if it cannot be avoided, plant them in an area far from your children’s reach or keep them away by putting a fence around them.
